She walked that dark alley. With nothing on her mind but "Him". She looked around for a sign he'd show up. He never did. Her being just a child didn't think much about it at the time. She began walking home. She saw two figures standing on the stoop of his apartment building. She got curious and despite her judgment she went over to check it out. She felt a sudden rage of anger and sorrow when she found out that the guy who she had loved with all her heart has been going out with her friend. She backed away "So now I know why you never came" She said as she started walking down the paved sidewalk to her house 3 blocks away. He followed her as he tried to explain "She came to me" he said trying to cover up his fact that he was the one who, despite better judgment, lost control and agreed to the girl he was now with. She didn't buy it. She kept walking. He kept following her. She suddenly turned around and went off "You were the one who wanted me! You were the one who begged! You were the one who said you'd always love me! You were the one who said we'd be together. You said you wouldn't make me cry!" She started to cry as she ran up the steps and opened the door to her house and ran inside. She quickly went up the steps before her parents could see that she was crying. A few hours later there was a knock on the door. Her mom answered. It was her friend. "Oh hello Ali, oh yes, she's upstairs" Ali went up the stairs to her friends room and knocked "Hey, it's Ali. Can I come in?" A small voice came from inside the room "Yeah Ali." Ali opened the door and slowly walked in and softly said: "You alright hun? What's wrong?" as she noticed her friend curled up on her bed continuing to cry. She lifted her head and shook it as in saying "no." Ali walked over to her friend's bed and sat down on the edge of it. It had started to rain. Ali's phone began to ring and her mom was on the telling her to ask to stay at her friends till the storm was over. A couple minutes pasted as she asked her friends mom. Ali went back to her friends room and sat back down on her bed. "Your mom said I could stay till the storm was over." her friend nodded as she continued to lay on her bed. Her crying was now lighter.  Ali moved closer to her friend rubbing her back softly trying to ease her pain. Her friend then sat up and immediately hugged Ali tight, knowing that now, someone was there to help. Ali reacted fast and hugged her back. "It's okay. I'm here for you, no matter what it takes. I'm here." Ali held onto her friend and with every burst of thunder and flashes of lightning, she felt her friend tense up. Ali loosened her grip of the hug to her friend slightly and looked into her friends sorrow-filled eyes. "I found out that happened...I'm sorry hun." Ali said as she now continued to hug her friend. A few minutes of silence went by . Ali had sensed her friend was now calmer. Now the meaning of this writing is to point out. No matter how much a guy hurts you. You know that there’s at least some one out there that’ll help. Thanks for reading.
